Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy on the supplies (excluding live worms - see exceptions below). This means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return request has been authorized, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Once we have received and inspected the returned item, and your return is approved, we will initiate a refund. 

Refunds and order cancellations are subject to a 5% payment processing fee and will be deducted from your total refund amount. Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to process and show up on your credit card statement.

Orders to be picked up on the farm

Our Live Worms Guarantee is also applicable for customers who select the pick up option at check out.

The Live Worms Guarantee will be void if the customer does not pick up the worms or fails to make alternate arrangements within 3 business days of receiving the order pick-up notification. 

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like live worms, or custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

We offer a live worm guarantee as long as you pick up the package of worms from your local mailbox or Canada Post outlet within 24 hours of delivery. In the unfortunate case that the worms are DOA, please email us a photo to info@pacificcomposting.ca immediately (the same day as the delivery/pick-up) for a full refund. Refund requests for photos submitted past 24 hours will not be accepted.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Order Cancellations
You may cancel your order if it hasn't been shipped or picked up from the farm.
