WHAT is PC Living Material?

It is a worm composting amendment made of decomposed organic matter that’s very rich in beneficial microorganisms (and other helpful composting organisms).

WHY Use It?

It is a great way to boost the microbial life in your worm composting system - especially valuable when starting up a brand new worm bin. It can help your worms settle in and feel much more “at home”.

HOW Is It Used?

Sprinkle it in with your habitat materials during the set-up process, or with a food deposit in an existing system.

Important Things to Keep in Mind

1. We highly recommend using up your PC Living Material as quickly as possible - so that all that amazing biology ends up in your system, not sitting in the bag!
   
   
2. This material will typically contain some Red Worms and cocoons, so it should only be used in a system you feel comfortable having a population of composting worms in.
