Worms love digging through hemp fibers!
Hemp tow is a byproduct of the hemp fiber production process and is a great bedding material option for your worm bin. It is a natural and biodegradable product.
Hemp tow:
- Is a highly sustainable option with a wide range of uses, including worm bedding,
- Is an excellent source of carbon in worm bedding,
- Absorbs and retains moisture really well,
- Has a high thermal rating, retains and regulates heat well within the habitat
You will also receive a printed Product Information Card detailing the description and use of Hemp Tow as a worm bedding material as well as general bedding tips for your worm bin.
If you're looking for a great worm bedding mix, we recommend going with a combination of 40% coco coir, 20% hemp tow, and 40% shredded cardboard.
