Worm Boost

Worm Boost is a supplemental feed and habitat enhancement mix designed specifically for vermicomposters!

Lightly sprinkle it in thin layers during the system set-up process, and anytime you add your regular worm bin food deposits, to help boost worm-nutrition and the overall health of the system.

How Worm Boost Is Different from Other Types of “Worm Chow”

No Protein Overload 

Most other worm feed mixes are primarily focused on protein content - and need to be used much more carefully. Worm Boost does have multiple protein-rich ingredients, but they are balanced well with the other ingredients in the mix.

More Emphasis on “Browns” 

We wanted a mix that not only offers good nutrition, but one that can also help to support a healthy worm composting habitat. Making sure there was a significant proportion of natural “browns” was one of the ways we accomplished this.

Buffering Components

We wanted a supplement that would also help to balance out the acidity of the fruit/veggie wastes a typical vermicomposter adds to their system. These additional mineral elements also help to support the ecosystem and the worms’ digestive health.

Additional Habitat-Enhancing Ingredients

Other ingredients were chosen to help further support the microbial population, and provide more protection for the ecosystem as a whole.
