What is Worm Boost?
Worm Boost is a brand new vermicomposting system supplement designed to boost worm nutrition and to help improve overall habitat quality.
Why did we create it?
Most commercial worm feeds are very high in protein-rich and starchy materials, mainly designed to fatten the worms, not to improve overall health of the worms and the system as a whole. These types of feeds can create a variety of issues, especially in regular vermicomposting systems managed by those with somewhat less experience.
We wanted to create a supplement that’s much more beginner-friendly, and much more beneficial for a typical home worm composting system!
Why are we giving it away?
We want to get Worm Boost in the hands of as many vermicomposters as we can ahead of the official launch. We’ve done a lot of testing ourselves, but would love to get some “real world” feedback from beta testers as well.
How is it used?
New System Set-Up
As you add your different habitat/food layers, lightly sprinkle in Worm Boost as you go. A total amount of about 3 Tbsps (evenly spread out) for an average sized worm bin should work well!
Ongoing Supplementation
Anytime you add a deposit of food to your system (always remember to err on the side of moderation with feeding), you can sprinkle in a little Worm Boost along with your other foods. How much you should add will depend on a range of factors including the size of your system, but a tablespoon of Worm Boost with every feed in a typical home worm bin should be a good starting place.
NOTE: As with typical foods, it’s important to cover Worm Boost deposits with bedding.
When does this promotion end?
The Worm Boost giveaway promo ends on August 11, 2025.
When does Worm Boost officially launch?
We are on track to launch Worm Boost in early fall 2025.
